摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting method which requires no power supply for operation in an ordinary time, when a flow velocity is lower than a prescribed value, and performs stable and reliable notification, when the flow velocity reaches the prescribed value, and to provide a device for that achieves the method, using a simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for detecting flow velocity of a prescribed value or above, a pressure-receiving plate consisting of a magnetic body at least partially is pivotally fitted to the axis so that it faces the upstream side and is rotatable around the axis, while a magnet is disposed at a position where it confronts the front of the pressure receiving plate consisting of the magnetic body; and the flow velocity is detected from the rotational displacement of the pressure-receiving plate surpassing the attracting force by the magnet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
