摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having improved reliability on electric connection and resistance to the heat of a cold cathode tube when driven. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes the cold cathode tube 30 arranged on the side of a first face 24 of a backlight frame 22, a circuit board 34 arranged on the side of a second face 26 of the backlight frame 22, and a connector 38 for connecting the cold cathode tube 30 to the circuit board 34. A first terminal 40 of the connector 38 is electrically connected to a terminal 36 of one of the cold cathode tube 30 and the circuit board 34 with welding. A second terminal 42 of the connector 38 is electrically connected to a terminal 32 of the other in contact therewith. A hole 28 of the backlight frame 22 is large enough to insert the second terminal 42 thereinto.
