PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of accurately detecting a temperature of a light emitting element and an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The light emitting element 2 is provided with a first substrate 36 having a first face and a second face; a second substrate 40 arranged opposed to the first face of the first substrate 36; a plurality of pixel parts which are provided on the first face of the first substrate 36 and include light emitting elements 12 respectively; and light shielding parts 45, which are arranged on the second substrate 40 on a side opposed to the first substrate 36 and face at least a part of a region between the plurality of pixel parts.
