PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patterned paper for postcards, having excellent design flexibility and offset printability. SOLUTION: The patterned paper has a pattern formed by randomly scattering white flocks on a colored substrate obtained by a mixed paper-making process of a colored pulp and the white flock, wherein the patterned paper has a density of 0.75-0.85 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, an Oken type smoothness of≥20 sec and a white flock content of 1-10 mass%, and ratio of white pigments to the sum of the white pulp and the white pigments in the white flock is 10-80 mass%.
