PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy ray-curable composition which gives a high surface hardness, can form a hard coat whose cured product exhibits little coloration, and is useful as a hard coat layer of a plastic film. SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curable composition for a plastic film comprises (A) a compound having two or more ethylenic unsaturated groups in one molecule thereof, and (B) 2-hydroxy-1-ä4-[4-(2-hydroxy-2-methyl-propionyl)-benzyl]-phenyl}-2-methyl-propan-1-one.
