摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic gyroscope excellent in measuring accuracy and easy to downsize. SOLUTION: A magnetic gyroscope 1 includes a three-axis magnetic sensor 2 that detects geomagnetism as a magnetic vector on three-axis orthogonal coordinates fixed to an object to be measured, a memory 3 in which to accumulate data on magnetic vectors detected by the three-axis magnetic sensor 2 in chronological order when the object makes a movement centered on an arbitrary axis of rotation passing through the origin of the three-axis orthogonal coordinates, rotation axis calculating means 4 for calculating an axis of rotation on the basis of data on magnetic vectors at three or more different points in time as accumulated in the memory 3, rotation angle calculating means 5 for calculating an angle of rotation of the object on the axis of rotation on the basis of the data on the magnetic vectors, and angular velocity calculating means 6 for calculating an instantaneous rotational angular velocity of the object on the axis of rotation.
