PURPOSE: A device for manufacturing a spherical body is provided, which can form a spherical body which is solid and is improved in the shape thereof. CONSTITUTION: A device for manufacturing a spherical body comprises: a supporter(10); a first forming plate and a second forming plate installed at the supporter; a plate drive unit transferring the first forming plate and second forming plate; a long pill production unit installed at the supporter; a manipulation part(80) for operating the operation of the plate drive unit and a material pressing unit; a left shift position detection sensor installed at the supporter; a right shift position detection sensor and a separation position detection sensor; an access position detection sensor installed at the operation plate; a rising position detection sensor installed at the material pressing unit; a lowering position detection sensor; and a controller controlling the plate drive unit and material pressing unit.
