PURPOSE: A method and a device for setting a schedule of a portable terminal are provided to simply set a schedule through a schedule setting screen. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal includes a control unit(101), a schedule setting unit(103), a memory unit(105), a touch management unit(107), a display unit(109), and a communication unit(111). If a schedule setting time is assigned to a time setting screen, the control unit controls input, storage, and process of contents of schedule corresponding to the time. The schedule setting unit output the time setting screen. By directing the control unit, the schedule setting unit sets schedule.
