<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel system capable of preventing damage of an electrolyte film in a subfreezing environment with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel cell 12 and a cooling medium supply device 18. The cooling medium supply device 18 includes a radiator 60, and a circulating flow passage 62 for circulating the cooling medium is provided between the fuel cell 12 and the radiator 60. A first branch flow passage 66 for bypassing the radiator 60 is connected to the circulating flow passage 62. At a confluence position of the circulating flow passage 62 and the first branch flow passage 66, a thermo valve 70 is arranged, and a second branch flow passage 72 for bypassing the thermo valve 70 is also provided. A controller 20 drives a pump 64 to an opposite direction when it is determined that there is possibility that produced water may be freezed inside the fuel cell 12 during stopping of the fuel cell system 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
