<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a piston in a cushioning manner at an optional set position in a pneumatic cylinder including an air cushion mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The air cushion mechanism for a pneumatic cylinder includes a cushion structure 21 installed in an outer side of a body 2, and a cushion structure 31 disposed so as to face a sliding direction of the piston with respect to the cushion structure 21 on a table 14 moving integrally with the piston. A cushion rod 23 is screwed into the cushion structure 21 so as to allow position adjustment, a rod fitting hole 33 opened so as to face the cushion rod 23 is provided in the other cushion structure 31, a cushion packing sealing a gap with the rod when the cushion rod is inserted is provided in an opening of the rod fitting hole, an interior of the rod fitting hole is communicated with the outside through a throttle valve 35 capable of adjusting a flow rate, and the piston is stopped in a cushioning manner by compressed air sealed in the rod fitting hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
