TONER CARRIER, DEVELOPING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner carrier generating cloud of toner in good condition when an alternating electric field is applied to an electrode on an insulating support body; a developing device which includes the toner carrier and performs good development; and an image forming device.

SOLUTION: The toner carrier for carrying the charged toner includes the plurality of electrodes arranged internally with a constant interval and includes a voltage applying means for applying voltage to the electrodes so that the electric fields among the plurality of electrodes change over time. The toner on the toner carrier is hopped by an electric field change among the electrodes to form the cloud of the toner. The surface layer coating the electrodes includes conductive particles and has a volume resistivity of 1.0×109Ωto 1.8×1015Ω.
