PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform work by an operator to a screen printer including a substrate holding device, a screen holding device, a squeegee device and a frame for supporting these devices. SOLUTION: A frame 10 in the screen printer is formed, in a flat view, to be recessed in a central part of the horizontal direction on the front side toward a rear side, and into a shape which includes a recession part 32 having a width in which an operator can enter. A cleaning device cleans a screen by moving within a space formed by separating the substrate holding device and the screen holding device. When a pair of fixing guides 254 for guiding an imaging apparatus for imaging a screen and a circuit board are in a state of extending up to two protrusions 34 which forwardly project in both of the recession part 32, a part of the cleaning device or the imaging apparatus can move up to the position corresponding to the recessed part 32 of the frame 10, so that, in particular, the maintenance and the like with respect to these devices become easy.
