<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance control reliability of an electronic device when the electronic device is controlled according to an external signal. <P>SOLUTION: In a control system 1, a pseudo-satellite 7 performs transmission by including, in a pseudo-satellite signal conforming to a signal standard of a GPS satellite signal from a GPS satellite 5, a control ID which is a kind of control code for controlling a portable telephone set 3. When receiving the pseudo-satellite signal from the pseudo-satellite 7, the portable telephone set 3 measures a time for continuous reception of the pseudo-satellite signal.
