PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate difficulty in processing and to enhance reliability in mounting a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight module. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel 10, a lower polarizing plate 30 stuck to the liquid crystal display panel 10, a backlight module 16 including an optical sheet 20 and a frame 24 enclosing the optical sheet 20, and a second adhesive layer 32 present between the lower polarizing plate 30 and the optical sheet 20 with the frame 24. A first face 34 of the second adhesive layer 32 adheres to the entire surface of the lower polarizing plate 30 opposing to the optical sheet 20 and the frame 24. A second face 36 opposite to the first face 34 of the second adhesive layer 32 adheres to the frame 24 and the optical sheet 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
