PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence of a variation with time or a positional variation due to temperature on a holding member in a light source unit by adjusting the optical axis of a luminous flux after passing through the coupling lens. SOLUTION: The light source of the light source unit 110 is positioned on a holder 104. The position of the coupling lens 103 is determined by the luminous flux emitted from the light source, and the variations in the position of a hole formed on the holder and the position of light emission, and the variation in the divergence of the luminous flux are absorbed by the position adjustment of the coupling lens 103. The holding member 105 is positioned in contact with the coupling lens 103 after adjusted and the holder 104, and fixed by being bonded to the coupling lens 103 and the holder 104. While the position of the coupling lens 103 is varied on the holder 104 depending on the light source unit 110, the position of the holding member 105 is adjusted and made contact to the holder 104 and the coupling lens 103 by making the holding member 105 in a wedge shape.
