PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin-type load cell which performs highly precise measurement inexpensively even if a load working direction changes. SOLUTION: The load cell includes a pin 4A; a pin hole 4B formed axially in the pin; four recessed portions 15 which are arranged circumferentially at equal intervals in the pin in the pin hole and which are recessed diametrally outward in the pin, respectively; a first distortion sensor 8 attached at one of the four recessed portions; a second distortion sensor 9 circumferentially attached at the adjacent recessed portion in the pin with respect to the recessed portion at which the first distortion sensor is attached; and a total of four connection portions 16 for circumfetentially connecting the two adjacent recessed portions in the pin the four recessed portions.
