PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin counter capable of accurately and rapidly reading the total amount of a number of coins, reducing labor and working hours, and being excellent in operability facilitating the operations of storing and taking out coins. SOLUTION: The coin counter includes a body 1 formed to have a coin storage section 30 covering the top face of a base 10, and a count display body 2 for reading the total amount of each kind of coin M. The coin storage section 30 comprises unit storage sections 30A to 30F each shaped like a gutter of a V-shaped cross section and arranged in a horizontal line depending on the number of kinds of coins, and a counting point 31 for fifty coins and a counting point 32 for one hundred coins are displayed on each sidewall of each unit storage section. The count display body 2 comprises a set of a plurality of unit display bodies formed to correspond to each kind of coin M.
