PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit and a frame memory control method that can efficiently utilize a frame memory. SOLUTION: A frame memory control part 14 detects a change in size of video data to be stored in the frame memory 13 having a video data storage area and a data storage area. When detecting a change in video size, the frame memory control part 14 reloads data stored in the pre-change data storage area into the post-change data storage area by referring to a storage part 15 storing management information managing the data storage area in the frame memory 13 for each video size for management information about the post-change video size.
