摘要 <p>Provided is a device for examining vascular function by which an index whereby blood properties and so on can be noninvasively evaluated can be determined by measuring the blood flow rate distribution in a blood vessel. By a first means of calculating blood property index (90), hematocrit values (Hte) at a plural number of points in the blood viscosity distribution (DV) and blood shear rate distribution (DSR) are derived based on the blood viscosity (µ) and the blood shear rate (SR) at each of the points, by using the standard relationship between hematocrit value (Ht) and blood viscosity (µ) with the use of pre-determined blood shear rate (SR) as a parameter.  By a second means of calculating index for blood properties (92), the above-described standard relationship is transformed at the same ratio at any blood shear rate (SR) so as to minimize the scattering range of the estimated hematocrit values (Hte') and a value relating to the scattering range thus determined is calculated as the index of blood properties (X1).  Accordingly, the index of blood properties (X1), whereby blood properties can be evaluated can be noninvasively determined and the blood properties can be objectively and easily evaluated.</p>
