<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually align the emission luminance of EL elements having different light emitting colors in a pixel portion of a light emitting device, and to further enhance the emission luminance of the EL elements. <P>SOLUTION: An EL element having an EL layer including a triplet compound and an EL element having an EL layer including a singlet compound are formed in combination on the pixel portion of the light emitting device, whereby the emission luminance of a plurality of EL elements formed can be aligned.
