<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar power source street light of solving the problems of conventional solar power source street lights, and capable of surely ensuring charging of power enough for turning on light-emitting diodes at nighttime. <P>SOLUTION: The solar power source street light equipped with a solar cell panel includes a support implanted in the ground and extending in a perpendicular direction; the solar cell panel installed at the upper part of the support; a battery to store electric power generated by the solar cell panel; the light-emitting diodes turned on by electric power from the battery; and first and second motors driven by electric power from the battery. The solar cell panel is coaxially rotated with an axis line of the support by the first motor and constituted so as to be rotated about the axial line orthogonal to the axis line of the support by the second motor, and includes a controller which drives the first and second motors so that the solar cell panel is orthogonal to sunlight, according to the pre-calculated solar azimuth angle and solar altitude, and so that the solar cell panel is rotated at a predetermined angle for each predetermined period, during the period from sunrise to sunset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
