PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a building member, which reinforces girders and beams strongly with good durability while maintaining its appearance, by preventing building reinforcing members from being exposed on the outer face of the building members constituting the outside of a wooden building, in connection between wooden girders and beams together. SOLUTION: A wooden beam 3 is fitted into a wooden girder 1 for connection as a building member constituting the outside of the wooden building wherein the connection of the girders 1 and beams 3 is reinforced with a metal battledore bolt 4. The battledore bolt 4 is constituted while a bar-shaped bolt 5 is joined to a flat body 6. In the body 6, the tip 6a thereof is inserted into the girder 1 down to the depth where the tip 6a stops inside the girder 1 before reaching the outer surface 2 of the girder 1. The bolt 7 is inserted into the hole 6b of the body 6, passing through the inside of the girder 1 in the direction along the outer face 2 of the girder 1, and the body 6 of the battledore bolt 4 is secured to the girder 1 with the bolt 7.
