PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable hardtop having a front panel and an intermediate panel arranged behind the front panel at a deployment position. SOLUTION: A back panel 22 supports a back light 24 and is arranged below and behind of the intermediate panel 18 at the deployment position so as to be adjacent to it. A pair of sail panels 20 is arranged below the intermediate panel 18, is engaged with both side parts in a lateral direction of the back panel 22 at the deployment position, and is separated from the back panel 22 at a retracting position. A link mechanism connects the front panel 16, the intermediate panel 18 and the back panel to the vehicle. When the retractable hardtop is moved from the deployment position toward the retracting position, the front panel 16 is transferred onto the intermediate panel 18 by the link mechanism and the position of the back panel 22 is changed to a position below the intermediate panel 18.
