PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas burner capable of performing complete combustion even in low output of about 5% of burner maximum output. SOLUTION: In this gas burner having a bottomed cylindrical flame stabilizing member disposed on a base section of a combustion chamber, and a gas supply pipe penetrating through a central section of the flame stabilizing plate and supplying a gas from a tip opening section to the combustion chamber, a primary air supply pipe is disposed in the gas supply pipe, a tip of the primary air supply pipe is projected from the tip opening section of the gas supply pipe, a primary air supply port composed of a plurality of small holes is formed on a tip outer peripheral section of the primary air supply pipe, and the flowing direction of the gas discharged from the tip opening section of the gas supply pipe and the flowing direction of the primary air discharged from the primary air supply port are orthogonal to each other.
