PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology allowing reduction of redundancy of collected operation information and collection processing while minutely detecting variation of the operation information of an information processor, in the information collection processing of an information processing system. SOLUTION: This information collection device includes: a collection interval determination means obtaining dispersion information indicating dispersion condition of a value of the operation information from the operation information wherein an operation situation of the information processor collected from the information processor in a prescribed period is indicated by a numerical value, and determining a collection interval at which information is collected from the information processor according to the dispersion information; and an information collection means collecting the information from the information processor at the collection interval determined by the collection interval determination means.
