A writing stroke identification apparatus, a mobile terminal and a method for realizing spatial writing are disclosed. By collecting and analyzing information of amount of writing movement, the present invention utilizes preset corresponding relationships between information of amount of writing movement and stroke information and between information of amount of writing movement and stroke relative position information to obtain writing stroke information and writing relative position information. Furthermore, the present invention utilizes the obtained writing stroke information and writing relative position information to identify the corresponding character.
