A cleaning pad (20) has a facing sheet (21) joined to a backsheet (22), and an absorbent core (24) disposed between the facing sheet (21) and backsheet (22). The facing sheet (21) is an integral sheet having a first region (12) comprising a plurality of apertures (28), and a second region (14) comprising a plurality of raised protrusions (31). The two different regions (12,14) provide dual functionalities of absorbing (or distributing) liquid, such as a cleaner, and scrubbing, respectively.
