<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lipase activity inhibitor which shows a high inhibitory activity on pancreatic lipase, regulates the absorption of fat derived from meals and/or contributes to the regulation or prevention of obesity, to provide a food and drink containing the same, or to provide a tea-origin lipase inhibitor having high preference without damaging flavor, and also to provide a method for production of the lipase inhibitor, and further to provide an antioxidant. <P>SOLUTION: The absorption of fat from meals can be regulated and an antioxidative effect can be obtained by adding to food and drink, the dimer (oolong homobisflavan) or trimer of epigallocatechin.
