<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device configured to suppress variation of display characteristics caused by variation of characteristics of a drive TFT. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device includes a plurality of pixels which are successively scanned in a writing period. Each of the pixels includes: a drive transistor which controls the light emission of the pixel based on a voltage applied to a gate electrode; a reset switch which connects the drain electrode and the gate electrode of the drive transistor in a period where the pixel is scanned; a lighting switch, one end of which is connected to the drain electrode of the drive transistor, and which is turned off in a period where other pixels are scanned; a pixel capacitance, one end of which is connected to the gate electrode of the drive transistor. A display signal is inputted to the other end of the pixel capacitance included in the pixel which is scanned in the writing period, and a predetermined signal is inputted to the other end of the pixel capacitance in a lighting period after the writing period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
