<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for monitoring a home communication apparatus inexpensively monitoring multiple apparatuses connected to one another via an IP communication network. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device 2 provided with a monitoring group management part 21 and an abnormality detection part 22, and a plurality of HGWs (home gate ways) 1a-1c provided with operation condition monitoring parts 10a-10c, respectively, are connected via an IP communication network 3. The monitoring group management part 21 transmits a monitoring group list including information of grouped monitoring object HGWs to the operation condition monitoring parts 10a-10c. The operation condition monitoring parts 10a-10c determine the HGWs for performing mutual monitoring in accordance with information of the list, monitor abnormality of the HGWs, and transmit information of the HGW upon abnormality detection to the abnormality detection part 22. The abnormality detection part 22 specifies the HGW having the number of pieces of abnormality detection information larger than a threshold, as an HGW having caused abnormality, based on the information of the HGW upon the abnormality detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
