<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device which is low in manufacturing cost with a simple structure, and easily integratable into a display device of a computer or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel device, which can perform input to a display device 10 having a display surface 11 and a bezel 12 formed around the display surface 11 by a pointing body 20, is mainly includes two camera parts 1 and 1, and a detection part 2. The two camera parts 1 and 1 are arranged on the bezel 12, and arranged with a predetermined interval. Each camera part 1 includes a circumference fisheye lens arranged so that the optical axis of the lens is approximately vertical to the display surface 11 of the display device 10, and can pick up images on the display surface 11.
