PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing update server and a drawing update system that allow an unspecified user ton refer to a drawing area. SOLUTION: The drawing update server 1 connected to a plurality of terminals 3 through a communication network 2 includes: a drawing storage means 21 having a plurality of drawing areas to be updated according to drawing data output by drawing operation from users of the terminals 3; a list data preparation means 12 for preparing list data for generating thumbnail images of the plurality of updated drawing areas and arranging and displaying the plurality of thumbnail images on display parts 31 of the plurality of terminals 3; a list data transmission means 15 for transmitting the list data prepared by the list data preparation means 12 to the plurality of terminals 3; and an update transmission means 18 for updating the thumbnail images displayed on the display parts 31 of the plurality of terminals 3 in accordance with the drawing areas, in response to update of the drawing areas.
