PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack with a plurality of batteries and superior in dimensional precision and mechanical strength even if a square type battery high in volumetric efficiency is used. SOLUTION: The battery pack P includes: the plurality of batteries 20 in which a battery element 10 consisting of a positive electrode 11, a negative electrode 12, and separators 13a, 13b is wrapped by a wrapper 17; a connecting member 31 to form a battery group G by electrically connecting these batteries 20; a retaining member 33A to mutually restrain the batteries 20; a protective circuit board 32 connected to the battery group G; and an outer sheath material 18 to integrally cover the battery group G and the protective circuit board 32 by filling a resin into a space of a case C in which the battery group G and the protective circuit board 32 are housed and by curing it at 100°C or less. Even when the square type battery high in volumetric efficiency is used, this battery pack P is superior in dimensional precision and mechanical strength, and achieves further improvement in miniaturization, weight reduction, safety, and reliability.
