PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress overcharge of a secondary battery in an electric vehicle, and to suppress a reduction in mileage due to pre-air-conditioning. SOLUTION: In the electric vehicle which can be charged by an external power supply, after each secondary battery is charged to a predetermined capacity by an output from a charger, the pre-air-conditioning is performed by an output power from the charger and small discharge power smaller than the output power from at least one secondary battery, and after the stop of the pre-air-conditioning, each secondary battery which has output the discharge power is additionally charged by the output from the charger.
