ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

A method of verifying documents using an electronic document verification system is disclosed. The method includes sending a verification request to a verification server from a first terminal. A verification transaction entry is created in a database associated with the verification server. At least one electronic document to be verified is received and transmitted to a verifying user at a second terminal. Verification confirmation is received from the verifying user at the second terminal, and an electronic verification confirmation document is then generated and output by the system.
