<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pigment dispersion for inkjet which exhibits good discharge property, excels in storage stability and has low viscosity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the pigment dispersion for inkjet in which a pigment is dispersed by a resin having acid groups includes the steps of mechanically dispersing a mixture containing the resin, pigment and a base, further adding the base so that the total amount of the base added becomes excess relative to the total number of moles of the acid groups in the resin, and adding an acid so as to neutralize a part of the excess base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
