PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger rack pole made lighter and having strength sufficiently durable for load. SOLUTION: The hanger rack pole 10 includes a pole body 20, and pole attachment portions 31 and 32 at both ends of the pole body. The pole body 20 includes a three-layer pipe structure including an intermediate pipe 22 in an outer pipe 21, and an inner pipe 23 and a coil spring 24 in the intermediate pipe 22. The outer pipe 21 includes stainless steel with thickness of 1-2.5 mm. The intermediate pipe 22 includes aluminum with thickness of 3-6 mm.
