UPGRADE METHOD AND SYSTEM OF SINGLE-BOARD SOFTWARE IN EQUIPMENT IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

An upgrade method and system of single -board software in an equipment in a communication system are provided In the method and system, a master control board concurrently downloads all the upgrade software of all the single-board types into the on-position single-boards of corresponding single-board type so as to reduce the time of the downloading program for multiple single-boards of the same type; after finishing the downloading of the upgrade software, the master control board activates all the single-boards in which the upgrade software is successfully downloaded at the same time so as to reduce the service break-off times during the upgrade process of the equipment and reduce the risks of the upgrade of the equipment and increase the capability and reliability of the equipment.
