<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by reducing loss of light at a prism connection part and suppressing increase in cost of reflection processing provided to the prism in a multi-light illuminator. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-light illuminator includes a plurality of light sources 101 and 104, a plurality of first rod integrators 111 and 112 for guiding light, and a second rod integrator 118 for guiding the light from the first rod integrators. The first rod integrators 111 and 112 have reflecting surfaces that are parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction, and an incidence surface and an exit surface at respective ends of them that are parallel to each other. The second rod integrator 118 has reflecting faces that are parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction, and the incidence surface and exit surface at respective ends that are perpendicular to the reflection surface. Optical axes 109 and 110, that pass through an optical center of gravity of a light source light-emitting part and coincide with the light emission direction are disposed so as to be incident substantially at the center of the incidence surface of the first rod integrators. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
