PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet ejector which reduces abrasion of an ejecting part according to a functional liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet ejector equipped with an ejection head which ejects the functional liquid from the ejecting part as liquid droplets includes a wiping member which wipes the ejecting part, a cleaning liquid supply part which adjusts a supply amount of a cleaning liquid according to the functional liquid and applies the adjusted cleaning liquid to the wiping member, a pressing part which adjusts a pressing pressure to press the wiping member against the ejecting part according to the functional liquid and presses the wiping member against the ejecting part, and a moving part which moves the ejection head and the wiping member relatively to each other and makes the ejecting part of the ejection head wiped by the wiping member.
