PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for conditioning the airflow entering an intake-type machine. SOLUTION: An air conditioning system (ACS) 200 for adjusting physical properties of the airflow entering the intake-type machine, includes a module 205, and the module includes a non-medium type conditioning system 230 constituted to adjust the physical properties of the airflow when ambient conditions are within a prescribed range, and including a plurality of nozzles 235 for spraying the fluid to the airflow, and a medium-type conditioning system 260 constituted to supply additional output of the intake-type machine by adjusting the physical properties of the airflow, and including a direct exchange medium 220 and a fluid distribution manifold 210. When a fluid supplied to the non-medium type and medium-type conditioning systems has a temperature higher than a dew-point temperature, ACS is functioned as an evaporation system, and when the temperature is lower than the dew-point temperature, ACS is functioned as a chilling system.
