PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection means capable of securing a necessary size of distance between a side for connecting a drive-pulling cord of a pull switch and a side for connecting an operation-pulling cord of the pull switch and capable of being readily manufactured. SOLUTION: A connection ring 12 (connection means) made of a metal wire rod is provided with a connection part 12b for hooking the operation-pulling cord through a gap 12f. For forming the connection part 12b, one end part 12g side of the metal wire rod is bent in a substantially ring shape in a plan view so as to be able to hook the operation-pulling cord and bent so as to allow a gap 12f, in a side view, between the one end part 12g of the metal wire rod and the intermediate part 12e of the metal wire rod through which the operation-pulling cord may pass. After the operation-pulling cord is passed through the gap 12f, the connection part 12b is caulking-precessed in a direction of the gap 12f being narrowed (in a nearly rear face direction). After processing, the gap 12f is closed. The diameter D2 of the connection part 12b do not change, before and after the processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
