PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified building which is equipped with a structure different from a conventional one and capable of giving a massive and large-boned impression. SOLUTION: This simplified building 1 includes: a plurality of erected supports 2, 2, ...; beams 10 and 10 which are provided across the supports; a roof member 30 which has an outer frame 31 and roof panels 59, 59, ... arranged on an inside partitioned with the outer frame; and connecting members 60, 60, ... which hold the roof member on the beam by connecting the beam and the roof member together. The connecting member has its one-end side fixed to the beam, and has the other-end side fixed to frame materials 34 and 34, provided in such a manner as to face the beam, of frame bodies of the roof member.
