PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer of blast washing while reducing the cost of materials and enhancing the effect of a detergent in washing tableware, by reducing a housing space for an injection material or a detergent and reducing a blast material to be used. SOLUTION: In a granular detergent for a dish washer, the detergent includes a detergent for chemically washing an object to be washed and an outer coating material covering the surface of the detergent. The coating material functions as a blast material, which dissolves under predetermined conditions and is used for blast washing to strip solid stains deposited on the object to be washed.
