METHOD FOR PROTECTING RESISTIVE AC LOAD FROM BEING SHORTED, DEVICE AND SWITCH

A method for protecting a resistive AC load from being shorted includes the following steps: turning on an active controlled switch by a first conduction angle (S12); obtaining the current mean value of the load through a current detecting circuit; determining whether the current mean value of the load is greater than a preset value (S16), if so, the active controlled switch is controlled to be turned off (S17), and if not, the active controlled switch is controlled to be turned on (S18). A device for protecting a resistive AC load from being shorted and a switch are also provided. With determining whether the load is shorted in a range of the first conduction angle in which the switch may not be destroyed, the switch and the circuit connected with the load can be protected while the shorted resistive AC load is detected.
