PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal and acaricidal emulsion preparation excellent in stability such that the insecticidal and acaricidal agent such as etoxazole, which is an active ingredient, is not deposited and coagulated in its preservation, and also excellent in the safety to a human body, domestic animal, and poultry, and environmental integrity. SOLUTION: This insecticidal and acaricidal emulsion preparation includes the insecticidal and acaricidal active ingredient, one or more solvents dissolving the active ingredient and expressed by formula (I) [wherein X is -CH<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>- or -CH=CH-; and R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>are each a 1-4C alkyl] and/or (II) [wherein Y is alkylene or alkenylene; (n) is an integer of 0 to 8; and R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>are each 1-10C alkyl] or a mixed solvent thereof and an emulsifier.
