The device has a pipe support (14) adjustable to movable pipe dimension. The pipe support has a link chain (15) resting at a partial circumference of a pipe. The link chain has chain elements (17) at front surfaces (17.1) pointed to the pipe. The chain elements are arranged in two planes and overlap from one plane to the other plane. The chain elements are connected with each other in overlapping areas in a hinged manner. The chain elements exhibit identical toothed wheel contours (30) at ends turned towards each other to the planes. The toothed wheel contours comb with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting a pipe support in extrusion lines. |
