<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly capable of achieving higher capacity by effectively inhibiting thickness expansion of a secondary battery, and to provide a secondary battery equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode assembly 10 includes an electrode group 20 formed by laminating and winding a first electrode plate 21, a separator 23, and a second electrode plate 25, and a sealing tape 30a attached to a predetermined area at a terminal end part of the electrode group 20. The sealing tape 30a has a value of Y1 (tensile strength×thickness of the sealing tape/elastic modulus) between 64 and 89 and a value of Y2 (tensile strength×film thickness of the sealing tape/elastic modulus) between 51 and 75. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
