<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller, using a two-dimensional input device, in which a remote controller is installed, for the right control and the left control of a game system, and inserting an external game panel in the game system or performing game software by a predetermined pattern of the game software displayed by a user himself. <P>SOLUTION: The control device can communicate with a game body for performing the game software. The control device includes the two-dimensional input device and the remote controller. The two-dimensional input device includes a touch panel where a pattern corresponding to the game software is formed, and outputs two-dimensional coordinate data for achieving two-dimensional coordinates when the user touches the pattern. The remote controller commandeers the two-dimensional coordinate data through a first communication module, and transmits the two-dimensional coordinate data to the game body through a second communication module.
