PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT AND SOLAR CELL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel sensitizing dye having high conversion efficiency and high durability, to be used for a sensitizing dye type photoelectric conversion element, and to provide the highly efficient photoelectric conversion element and a solar cell using the same.

SOLUTION: The sensitizing dye type photoelectric conversion element includes a pair of opposed electrodes between which a semiconductor layer having at least the sensitizing dye supported on a semiconductor and a charge transport layer are provided, the sensitizing dye being a compound expressed by following general formula (1). The solar cell uses the same.
